For decades ordinary people have benefitted from consulting with qualified hypnotherapists for drug-free, dignified help with the ordinary problems of life.  The use of the state of hypnosis to enable change at the deepest levels – the subconscious level- has been around for centuries.

Hypnotherapy refers to the therapy done while the client is in the state of hypnosis (the relaxed brain wave state).  In of itself hypnosis (the state of relaxation) changes little.  In well-trained hands however, this state can allow for client self-exploration, self-healing and self-determination.  Every day research is finding increasingly more significant benefits of using hypnosis to heal and help people of all walks of life, and of all ages…from depression and emotional suffering to pain management, weight loss and weight gain.

Anger, fears, resentment, frustration, grief, shame, guilt, addictions to a myriad of substances and activities all seem to find resolution with hypnotherapy for many clients tired of living with the shackles of feelings they neither deserve nor understand.  Even the effects of bullying can be neutralized with hypnotherapy and a competent hypnotherapist can help children overcome their fears of going to school and teach them techniques for managing their situation.

Those who have suicidal thoughts benefit greatly from speaking with a hypnotherapist, because hypnotherapy offers everyone the ability to look inside to find their own answers.  Hypnotherapy can help sufferers of depression and low self-esteem learn that in fact they are an equal creation of the Universe, an equally important piece of the Universal puzzle and without them, the puzzle is simply not complete.

It is a safe, drug-free therapy that strives to empower a client and help them regain control of their life’s journey and gratitude for their lives. If you have any issues that keep you from being happy and content, you can consult a competent hypnotherapist for non-invasive, non-drug self-healing assistance.

NOTE THAT HYPNOTHERAPISTS DO NOT DIAGNOSE, THEREFORE IF YOU FEEL YOU HAVE ISSUES THAT REQUIRE MEDICAL ATTENTION, YOU ARE ADVISED TO CONSULT WITH YOUR MEDICAL DOCTOR. Most informed doctors are aware of the benefits of hypnotherapy and you can discuss hypnotherapy as a treatment with them.

It has been my experience that many PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder) sufferers have found permanent relief from having undergone competent hypnotherapy.  After hypnotherapy, most PTSD sufferers seem to feel a calmness and peacefulness that pervades their approach to life.

Many PTSD sufferers feel deep anger, resentment, fear, discouragement, anxiety, depression and various combinations thereof.  But the one symptom that is common is a severe anxiousness.  PTSD is usually diagnosed after a person has experienced a traumatic event; it is suffered by children and adults alike.   In summary, they are truly suffering and many feel a sense of hopelessness and disempowerment as they face relentless periods of severe and uncontrollable anxiety.

I was trained at The Pacific Institute of Advanced Hypnotherapy where a hypnotherapist is taught the techniques that can help relieve such suffering, irrespective of the label affixed by the medical community.  Many of my clients have successfully healed themselves of the deep-rooted emotional causes of the intense and disabling emotions associated with PTSD.  Being piled on top of an accumulation of years of feelings of danger and insecurity, often, the most recent traumatic experience is in effect the ‘straw that broke the camel’s back’.

Unfortunately, it seems that many of the drugs prescribed for PTSD seem to intensify the anxiety and the withdrawals add to feelings of being out of control of one’s life.  Hypnotherapy however, carried out by a well-trained, experienced hypnotherapist is drug-free and entirely dignified and self-healing.  This therapy provides a safe and effective way for the PTSD client to connect with the deep subconscious reason(s) for the life-long fear that was confirmed and intensified by the traumatic incident.

It is vitally important that a PTSD client seek out the most experienced and well-trained clinical hypnotherapist possible.  Some hypnotists, without the requisite training and experience refer to themselves as hypnotherapists and thus, without the intensive regression training required, may be ineffective in dissolving the root-cause issues.  A competent hypnotherapist can help a client reach the subconscious mind, help the client become aware of the underlying issues, facilitate reframing of the events that are at the root of the issues and provide direct and indirect subconscious suggestions for calmness, safety, protection, love and worthiness that benefit the client permanently.

While everyone should be consulting their doctor about all health issues they struggle with, it may also be beneficial to ask your doctor about hypnotherapy as a first option for relief of PTSD symptoms.  Many people have found that hypnotherapy should be a first option rather than the last, given that it’s benefits have been confirmed by research and it has no known negative side effects.
