How can we, as a society claiming to be ‘evolved’ and civilized, continue to overlook the blatant misrepresentation of the facts regarding mental illness, psychopharmacology and conventional treatments of those suffering from normal emotional struggles?  Hundreds of landmark criminal and civil cases and scientific studies have proven that psychiatric treatments of emotional issues are nothing more than a wholesale crimes against humanity.  (more…)

Canadian Democracy Needs Your Help!

Canadian Democracy at High Risk

Enforcement of a country’s democracy determines the state of its food security, drinking water, air and independence of its government from the influence of corporate corruption and greed.  Canada has been taken over by pharmaceuticals, biotechnology companies and corruption in government.  Citizens are becoming very angry. Municipal Bullying causes distress

Municipal harassment and abuse causes mental health issues in property owners.

Canadian law favors those with deep pockets…corporations, municipalities and governments.  Ontario Landowner’s Association (OLA) is setting up a litigation fund to help the disadvantaged and bullied…learn why you should help.  Property owners are some of the most victimized, suffering alone because the cost of legal assistance is prohibitive.  One’s health is severely affected when overwhelmed and victimized by a system so out of balance there is little recourse or democracy left.  (more…)

Fluoride Does Not Prevent Tooth Decay – It Causes Cancer!

Think that your fluoridated drinking water is safe? Think again!  Top cancer researchers are showing that fluoride  causes more human cancer death and causes it faster than any other chemical. Millions of people are made ill by the very same toxic ‘treatment” reportedly used by Hitler to control & sterilize victims of his concentration camps.  Read this  example of what fluoride in drinking water will do to a human. SWAG – (Scientifically Wild Assed Guess) = the way psychiatry operates.

Prior to the advent of drugs, family doctors and patients decided what needed treating, whether it had an official name or not.  Often treatment involved lifestyle and dietary changes. Increasingly, since the 1950s, drug companies have been dictating medical care and psychiatric diagnosis.  In fact, now more than ever, drugs are manufactured first and a use for them created later.  For example, Ritalin and its cousins were manufactured first.  Later psychiatrists created a fictitious ‘disease’ drug companies feverishly marketed as ADHD and ADD.

Psychiatric Diagnosis is Not Backed by Science

People forget that a psychiatric diagnosis for feeling sad, hurt, angry and other normal human emotions means they are ‘sick in the head’, primarily because doctors still falsely claim such feelings are caused by an abnormality of the brain. Even if the patient completely recovers, and whether correct or not, that psychiatric diagnosis will forever remain part of their medical record.

Many people regret diagnoses profoundly when they are denied insurance, a security clearance and especially when they learn that there is NO scientific evidence whatever to support any so-called ‘mental illness’, not even depression or schizophrenia and that many studies have shown that mental illnesses, including schizophrenia, will resolve more quickly and permanently when the person is not medicated.

How Psychiatric Diagnosis Messes with the Mind

Being told one is ‘mentally ill’ can really mess with their mind, especially if told drug therapy will be life-long.  After all, was that not a label used only for really ‘crazy’ people at one time?  According to sociologists Erving Goffman and Michel Foucault,  “The power of a diagnosis is that it changes the way people understand and identify with themselves”.  It would seem to be an element of brainwashing, a conditioning for life-long drug use based entirely on a myth and an opinion.

Psychiatrist Daniel Carlat referred to this ‘myth’ as neurobabble in Unhinged stating that neurobiology and genetics have found NO evidence of a role of either chemicals, neurotransmitters or genes in ‘mental illness’.

With a diagnosis, a doctor has safely passed judgment on a person’s morality by fraudulently disguising it as a scientific finding – he has decided for that person, based on his own personal biases, what is wrong with that person, with their experience of and reaction to life, and moreover, just how to ‘fix’ it.  Yet, that very science is bought and paid for by pharmaceutical drug money; a voodoo science so useless that genuine scientists and ethical doctors abhor it.

It seems that the biggest problem with modern life is that who we should be and how we should live is directed more and more by self-appointed experts on humanity and their definition of what is ‘normal’.  This leaves people buying into expert ‘opinion’ about what kind of people we should be, taking us further and further from our life journey.  The result is profound unhappiness, a fear that we just won’t or can’t measure up and the reliance on drugs.

Authority figures exercising their ‘powers’ like this are more dangerous then those using actual physical force – its subtlety results in such self-doubt in the patient that they can no longer trust their own instincts or follow their own heart’s desires.  The patient becomes an ‘emotional cripple’, paralyzed to do anything but agree with someone he is convinced knows more about him then even their Creator.  The uniqueness of that person and their experience with life is never factored or acknowledged by conventional medicine.

The patient becomes fashioned in the image of the ‘authority’ figure telling him what he is, instead of being shaped by his own uniqueness.  The ‘authority’s’ assessment is as unreliable and false as the ‘science’ behind it.  The image a psychiatric patient is assigned is entirely dependent on whose deciding that day.

Studies have shown that psychiatrists can be counted on to choose differently for the same symptoms.  In fact, as Gary Greenberg notes in Manufacturing Depression, a ‘mental illness’ can be eradicated simply by a vote as was done when the psychiatric diagnosis of homosexuality was removed from the diagnostic manual. This surely demonstrated that the only thing psychiatrists could do reliably was to diagnose diseases that did not exist. The DSM (psychiatric diagnostic manual) is truly great fiction needlessly and negatively affecting the lives of tens of millions.

So Why the Psychiatric Diagnosis?

To be lawfully permitted to prescribe drugs, doctors require a ‘disease’ to treat.  It does not matter if the psychiatric diagnosis is incorrect or damaging to the patient (which is about 100% of the time), as long as it meets the pharmaceutical agenda by legitimizing what would otherwise be illegal drug promotion. As well as serving to protect pharmaceuticals from the bad reputations street drug pushers have, diagnoses facilitate insurance company reimbursements.

What Has Society Learned from Decades of Psychiatric Diagnosis and Treatment?

Seventy-five years of drug therapy and mental illness diagnoses have taught us that you cannot drug, drink, eat, work, exercise, medicate or talk your way past a persistent ‘bad’ feeling.  We have also learned that drugs ,and the diagnoses legitimizing them, cause loss of self, permanent brain damage, birth defects, suicide, homicide, aggression, emotional blunting and disconnection, sexual dysfunction, cardiovascular, liver and kidney issues and reduced quality of life.  Drugs and electroshock cannot affect the soul/spirit.  Proof of that is in how people drugged to the point of physical damage for years continue to complain of sadness, guilt, shame and fears.  In other words, torturing the brain won’t make you feel better.

Hypnotherapy for Addictions

Resolve Addictions with Hypnotherapy

   All addicts must know three things in order to recover from their dependency on any substance or behavior: It’s not their fault, they don’t deserve it and regression hypnotherapy with a fully qualified regression hypnotherapist can help them recover permanently from the need to self-medicate deep feelings of hurt, sadness, guilt, shame and grief. (Please note that my reference to fully qualified does not include past life regression or basic hypnosis.)

A large part of my hypnotherapy practice is devoted to addictions issues and helping addicts and substance abusers become free of their mental and physical reliance on substances and behaviors of all kinds – from cigarettes to alcohol, heroin, cocaine, psychiatric drugs, gambling and pornography.  According to my former clients, recovering from the addictiveness and damage of psychiatric drugs is the most challenging.  (more…)

Scared_Crying_Child     Child advocates around the world are calling for a ban on the psychoactive drugging of children. Psychiatric drugs are not approved for use in children…they are prescribed off-label.  These drugs are damaging millions of children. Can we continue to allow this?

 WARNING:  never stop taking psychoactive drugs abruptly.

The Effects Psychiatric Drugs Have on Children

Medicated children may be quieter for a while, but they often endure daily headaches, withdrawal symptoms, nausea and stomach cramps, suicidal thoughts, diabetes, stroke, depression, mania and hallucinations.   Children routinely report feeling empty and unable to feel interest in anything.  Most develop chronic physical health problems, stunting, obesity and uncontrollable muscular tics and movements. Many end up suffering irreversible drug-induced bi-polar disorder, as well as permanent emotional blunting.  (more…)

Hypnotherapy for Self-Healing

Hypnotherapy for Mental Illness

 Hypnotherapy utilizes the natural state of hypnosis to facilitate the changes clients want.  Hypnosis is as natural as breathing; most everyone experiences it daily.  It is not sleep, unconsciousness, nor is it therapy in of itself.  It’s better described as a day-dream state during which a competent therapist can assist a client to make the desired changes at the subconscious level.

Navigating the Field of Hypnotherapy: From Mental Illness to Emotional Wellness Naturally

Sometimes the interchange of the terms hypnosis and hypnotherapy, hypnotist and hypnotherapist, consulting hypnotist, hypno-psychologist, doctor of hypnosis and so on, cause confusion for those looking for assistance with a particular issue or goal.

In the USA, UK and Canada, several organizations promote hypnosis and hypnotherapy.  Some are simply membership organizations and anyone can join, but two others – The IMDHA (International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association) and the APHP (Association of Professional Hypnosis and Psychology) have specific requirements around medical, dental and clinical hypnotism training.  Because of these strict requirements, hypnotherapy practitioners are skilled to assist with emotional, spiritual and mental illnesses and imbalances.

The APHP have very strict requirements of their members.  Membership and certification of schools is by application and proof of credentialing and training in the field of medical hypnotism. The IMDHA certifies hypnotherapy schools which teach basic hypnotism techniques first, followed by training in the applications of hypnosis for medical (including mental illness) and dental purposes.  The designation earned is Certified Hypnotherapist. Practitioners are trained to work with allied healthcare (mental/dental) professionals in focus areas of regression, medical , dental and behavioral hypnosis.  As a result, regression hypnotherapists are typically skilled at assisting those suffering from mental illness identify and dissolve the root causes of emotional suffering.

Clinical hypnotherapists are able to provide safe, dignified assistance to those suffering mental illness issues without need for a diagnosis and in all clinical settings.   Hypnotherapy practitioners are required to continue their education in the medical/dental areas and remain up-to-date with the advances in this rapidly expanding field.

 Girl_suffering_form_anxiety     To get healthy and stay healthy, you need the truth … the truth about what is in your water, your food and especially how your mind is conditioned.  When  clients struggling with mental illness seek my clinical hypnotherapy assistance to turn their emotional and physical health around safely we start with the facts:

  • Conventional medicine is not about ‘curing’ or ‘healing’; it is designed to suppress symptoms, which inevitably rise up as something worse later;
  • The medical-pharmaceutical complex is engaging in extraordinary levels of medical fraud, misrepresentation of facts, willful negligence, manipulation of clinical trials, control of mainstream media, manufacturing of mental illness, suppression of legitimate health information, ghost-writing and collusion – the result is that experts have deemed much of the information in ‘esteemed’ medical journals worthless and dangerous;
  • Mainstream medical information is controlled by Big Pharma – natural healings of cancer, mental illness and catastrophic illnesses are censored;
  • Mental illness is not brain disease. Brain disease has objective scientific evidence; ‘mental illness’ is nothing more than opinion with nothing to back it up. Mental illness is a term conjured up entirely by psychiatrists to meet the needs of pharmaceutical companies to sell illness-causing drugs. Further, diagnoses are ‘voted’ in and out on the whim of psychiatrists and drug companies – not a single mental illness is backed up by science;
  • According to psychiatrists, normal human emotion and reaction is mental illness and everyone needs to be ‘treated’. The conventional treatment for normal human emotions results in worsening conditions and epidemic levels of disability;
  • SWAG – (Scientifically Wild-Assed Guess) = the way psychiatry operates;
  • The brain is not the center of emotion; it reacts to emotions.  I know of no one who has ever experienced a brain-break when hurt, betrayed, abandoned, neglected, abused, etc, but everyone has experienced heartbreak(more…)

Hypnosis is such a natural feature of our being that we routinely go in and out of the hypnotic state throughout the day. Most everyone can learn, in just a few minutes, how to hypnotize themselves and willing others, technically making them a ‘hypnotist’. But does that also make them an effective therapist?

Few people who have learned to hypnotize others have the verifiable skills in therapy required to assist others to heal themselves of emotional issues, unwanted habits and physical ailments. Qualified hypnotherapists on the other hand, can provide verifiable credentials of specialized hypnotherapy training and demonstrate advanced skills in the therapeutic aspect of their work; the use of hypnosis facilitates their therapy.

What is the State of Hypnosis?

Being in the state of hypnosis means that a person has narrowed their focus to a single thought or feeling and allowed other mental functions to fade into the background of their mind. Although the brain is not evaluating new data when one narrows their focus to a specific stimuli or set of stimuli as it would if in the fully alert state, it is not comatose, asleep or anesthetized – it is still operating ‘in the background’.
Therefore, hypnosis is merely a state of mind during which a person has suspended reality. Often it involves relaxation, but we can also be in a deep state of focused concentration when panicked, fearful, obsessively washing our hands, or apprehensively waiting on our doctor to share test results.

Why is it Important to Understand Hypnosis?

Because it’s so easy to induce hypnosis in a willing person, we see thousands of ‘hypnotists’ claiming that they can also help people with all sorts of personal issues.

While hypnosis is not harmful, its allure can separate you from your money if you do not keep in mind that it is the ‘therapy’ undertaken while a person is in a focused state of concentration that will help you achieve your goals, not the state itself. To be an effective therapist, one must have not only advanced training in how to use the state of hypnosis effectively, but relevant experience and skills with life and the specific issues to be resolved; these a practitioner does not acquire in a weekend course on how to induce hypnosis.

Questionable Claims by Poorly Trained Hypnotists

Many hypnotists incorrectly claim that hypnosis has a 90-95% stop-smoking success rate, while failing to define ‘success’. Hypnotists who are unable to recognize and address the underlying root-cause of the habit may well leave behind a non-smoking client with heightened anxiety or a new, equally undesirable coping mechanism to handle ‘stress’. It is very common for a person to stop smoking only to become an emotional eater when the underlying reason for the anxiety and stress reactions are not first dissolved – or worse, to return to smoking more heavily.

Similarly, there are so many variables to be considered in safe weight management that hypnotists without significant experience and knowledge of root-cause issues, GMO’s, nutrition, medication side-effects, depression, anxiety and physical conditions may unwittingly lead a weight-loss client to believe that their weight problems will resolve with hypnosis scripts designed to reduce food intake, even though food intake may well not be the problem.

Beware Exaggerated Credentialing

It is not uncommon to hear of hypnotists, with little more than a few hours training in how to induce hypnosis in another, string all manner of unrelated titles behind their names, hoping to appear to be qualified in the medical and dental use of hypnosis. Many even claim they are ‘hypnotherapists’ despite having no therapy skills and experience whatever. Ethical hypnotherapists do not engage in exaggerated credentialing.

Titles such as Doctor of Divinity, Ph.D of Philosophy, and so on, have no bearing on a hypnotists’ ability to help clients resolve emotional hardships, unwanted habits and health issues and are entirely irrelevant to the field of medical and dental hypnotherapy. No real ‘bricks & mortars’ educational facilities offer doctorates or Ph.Ds in hypnosis or hypnotherapy. As seen in many other professions as well, millions of Ph.Ds and doctorates are acquired from on-line diploma mills by the unprincipled.

Choosing the Right Hypnotherapist

So while it is exciting that hypnosis can be easily induced by most people, confusion can result about which practitioner is best for the prospective hypnotherapy client. Thus the need to question more! What is their training in medical and dental hypnotherapy exactly; have they completed their Master Hypnotist and then Hypnotherapist training, or are they simply taking a few hypnosis courses, getting a handful of diplomas from poorly trained ‘instructors’ and joining one of the several organizations that take a membership fee and cavalierly proffer an important-sounding title without any formal testing or supervision? Have they been supervised by a qualified instructor before being unleashed on the public? Did their instructor have a successful hypnotherapy practice prior to instructing, or did they too just take a few courses and then offer to teach others?

Summary

As you can see, practically anyone can be a hypnotist, and any hypnotist can claim to be a hypnotherapist, or appear to have magical powers, but only those who can demystify the hypnotherapeutic process, prove their medical and dental hypnotherapy credentials and support their claims, deserve your patronage if you are seeking to heal yourself physically and emotionally.
